This is just a friendly reminder to all Maple Leafers to keep their Thursday night open next week and attend the Maple Leaf Reservoir Park discussion.

This is the third meeting — and at this one we’ll get to see some concepts that were developed based on the February 2010 meeting. These concepts also take into account comments that have been sent into the Parks department after the February meeting, and the 350 pages of comments that Friends for a Greater Maple Leaf Park collected from Maple Leafers over the past three years.

The meeting will take place from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Olympic View Elementary (Map). Child care will be provided!

Check out the city’s summary of last month’s meeting for a refresher on where things stand.

Hi! The meeting is actually from 6:30 to 8:30 at Olympic View Elementary, which is nice, that extra half hour makes it a bit easier for most people to attend. And, of course, getting there early is not a bad thing!

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m very curious to see what The Berger Partnership presents . . . and what everyone else will have to say about them! I know it is years and years away from being completed, but I am really looking forward to this park contributing to making our neighborhood a great place to live.

Thanks – fixed!

I’m definitely interested in seeing some concepts from Berger as well.
