Northgate Community Center is once again hosting a summer concert on the lawn tonight.
This time, you’ll hear from Zael Zura, an acoustic singer and songwriter.
A bit more about Zael from his Myspace profile:
“Zael has been involved either playing or supporting the west coast music scene for the past 10 years. His musical style comes from a deep appreciation for old time country, rhythm and blues, and some acoustic indie tunes. Recently Zael has begun work on his second full-length album, continuing to record all vocal and guitar tracks at the same time to create a sound that is closer to a live performance. Zael grew up in Coeur d’Alene Idaho moving to Washington when he was 13 and spends his time either in the mountains or the west coast surf. He has been on tour for the last 6 months and is planning a larger second nationwide tour next year. Zael’s music has been played across the US on a variety of radio stations and featured this last summer as one of KEXP’s top ten singer songwriters to see live. Zael is currently playing select shows across the west coast while writing his new album.”
